Syria: 'We firmly deny' claims about use of chemical weapon by gov. in Douma — Russian Reconciliation Centre

Speaking from Ghouta on Sunday, Head of the Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in the Syrian Arab Republic Yuri Yevtushenko strongly rejected claims by the 'White Helmets' volunteer non-governmental organization suggesting that on April 7th the Syrian armed forces «dropped a bomb laden with chlorine in Douma.» Yuri Yevtushenko called such claims «fabricated» and laid out Russia... Еще's readiness to «send the Russian experts in the radiation, chemical and biological protection immediately after Douma's liberation from militants.» The Head of the Reconciliation Centre went on to say that such allegations stem from the «favourite narrative,» exploited by the Western countries, which is about «the use of the chemical weapon by the governmental forces of Syria.» On Saturday the 'White Helmet' organisation said that a bomb with toxic gas inside was allegedly dropped over Douma on April 7th which triggered the death of at least 70 people.
