Syria: Syrian forces recapture Abu Kamal, last city under IS control

The Syrian city of Abu Kamal which was considered as the last city under the control of Islamic State (IS; formerly ISIS/ISIL) in the country, was liberated by the Syrian Army and its allies on November 19, footage from Wednesday reveals. The city was seized by allies earlier this month but the militants staged a counter attack through terrorists hidden in the town. The city is situated in the...
