Several residents were reportedly killed and injured in a motorcycle bomb explosion in the centre of the city of Ras al-Ain, in the countryside of al-Hasakah governorate, on Thursday.
The exploded motorcycle, damaged vehicles and buildings, and debris scattered on the ground could be seen in the area of the explosion.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) has reported that two residents had been killed and several others were injured in the aftermath of the explosion.
There were no immediate claims of responsibility for the attacks.
The city of Ras al-Ain is controlled by Turkish-backed forces, which seized control of the city as a result of the offensive they launched into north-eastern Syria under the name of Operation Peace Spring in October 2019.
