Fighting continued between government forces and militants in the southern province of Daraa on Wednesday, as the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) seized two more towns in the strategic area that borders Jordan and the Golan Heights. Footage shows SAA soldiers in fights against militants in the Daraa neighbourhood of Al-Manshia. According to the Syrian news agency SANA, the SAA advanced from Nahitah... Еще and Sama Al-Hadeitat towards the two towns of Maliha Al-Gharbiyah and Maliha Al-Sharqiyah. Reports say that after a short period of fighting, the Syrian Army gained full control of the two towns. The Syrian Army has now moved to the outskirts of the militant-held town of Al-Hirak in east Daraa. The fighting is part of a weeklong offensive in the area, which according to the UN has displaced up to 45,000 people. The majority of those displaced have reportedly fled from the eastern parts of Daraa towards the country's southern border with Jordan.
