Syria: Russian Navy holds parade in waters off Tartus to mark Navy Day

The Syrian port city of Tartus saw a seven-vessel-strong parade for Russia's annual Navy Day, which is celebrated on the final Sunday of July each year. Tartus, on Syria's Mediterranean coast, hosted the event, to go alongside similar processions in the likes of St. Petersburg. The Russian tricolour and the Navy flag were flown as part of the parade.
