Four Russian journalists were injured in the Syrian city of Deir ez-Zor after a roadside bomb explosion on Monday. The TV crew were evacuated to the Hmeimim Air Base, where they recounted their ordeal, Tuesday. One of the journalists said they were «filming the barriers made by terrorists» when there was a «loud crack», from an improvised explosive device. Another described the aftermath, «when... Еще the smoke cleared away, I saw my colleagues and military personnel lying on the ground.» According to the Russian Ministry of Defence, the injuries were not life-threatening. The journalists have been transported to Russia for further treatment.
