Syria: Rogozin meets with Assad to discuss economic recovery

Russian deputy Prime Minister Dmitri Rogozin arrived in Damascus on Monday for crucial meetings with Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad to discuss economic recovery for post-war Syria. Commenting on the present economic issues, Rogozin said that Syria is yet to do “long and a lot of work to become a stable, big and crucial territory.” He added that the economic recovery should be achieved as soon as... Еще possible because defeating terrorists did not halt the struggle for the spheres of power and “the battle for minds”, as Rogozin put it. Speaking with journalists on the sidelines, the Russian deputy PM said that the talks with the Syrian side were long-lasting and were preceded by huge work of ministries, departments and the Syrian-based economic operators.
