Residents of a village recently taken over by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) have returned to work on their farms, as shown in footage from Abu Dala, north of Hama, on Monday.
People were seen gathering in the village, with children playing outdoors and shepherds herding their flocks.
«We went back to our village after four to five years of displacement. We have been suffocated by displacement... Еще, humiliation, famine and all aspects,» one resident said. «We are living now as if we were in the ancient times using wood as fuel, without water or electricity.»
«We will live in our home even if it means to live on rubble, we will remain here,» another resident said. «We are looking forward to reconstructing Syria hand in hand with all the Syrians.»
Representatives of opposing sides in the Syrian conflict have agreed to reconvene in Geneva for stalled talks on the constitution, UN Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen said on Tuesday.
