Еще that 13 civilians were evacuated including five children. Zolotuhin said that the convoy was held by militants “for two hours at the border of the Duma settlement.” He also criticised the militants for refusing to negotiate and said «The militants use civilians as human shields.» Taufik Adas, a Red Crescent squad leader, mentioned that there were «no attacks» in the area where the trucks were unloaded. “Around that area, far away, we heard gunfire,” he added. The convoy organised by the United Nations, the Red Crescent and the Red Cross delivered food for about 27,000 of the 400,000 people living in the area.
