Syria: Drone attacks on Khmeimim and Tartus launched from Idlib — MoD *STILLS*

Moscow urged Ankara to ensure a ceasefire in Idlib following drone attacks on Russian bases with the Ministry of Defence releasing another image of captured UAVs carrying several improvised explosive devices in Latakia, Wednesday. Recent reports from the MoD suggest that the drone launch was conducted from the position in the Idlib de-escalation zone, which was established by Russia, Iran and... Еще Turkey but is controlled by Ankara. Following these reports, Russian officials sent letters to the leaders of the Turkish General Staff and Intelligence Agency urging a ceasefire in Idlib de-escalation zone. Russia says its military repelled an attack from 13 ‘militant’ drones on its Khmeimim Air Base and Tartus naval facility in Syria on January 6.
