Twenty families arrived at the Al-Mufqar village in the Hama Governorate countryside on Wednesday, returning from the al-Rukban refugee camp on the border with Jodan, due to poor humanitarian conditions.
Footage shows the families arriving and being hosted in tents. They were offered healthcare and water.
One family member said of the al-Rukban camp, «There is nothing to be done for a sick child... Еще, there were no doctors nor anything and the child would go to the heavens.»
«Concerning the humanitarian situation, it was tragic. It is a painful reality, it is a reality that lacks all fundamental needs of life, a reality that has no security nor safety,» another man said.
Dozens of families have been leaving the camp since April 16th due to the difficult humanitarian conditions, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
