The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) is starting its hearing of Russia's appeal against a four-year ban was imposed on its athletes over doping allegation, on Monday. Footage show the CAS building in Lausanne.
In 2019, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) declared Russia to be non-compliant for allegedly altering laboratory data previously handed to investigators.
Russia was banned for four years from participating in major international competitions including the upcoming Olympic games in Tokyo, the 2022 Football World Cup in Qatar and the 2022 Winter Olympics in China.
The CAS hearing is taking place at a secret location behind closed doors and is expected to last until Thursday.
