Switzerland: Heavy security in Davos ahead of WEF 2018

Heavy security was deployed in the streets of Davos, Monday, one day ahead of the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2018. United States President Donald Trump, French President Emmanuel Macron and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are some of the star-visits of the annual event. WEF 2018 expects to welcome 2,500 high-profile political, economic and business guests and 70 heads of state and government. The 48th annual meeting of the WEF 2018 will take place during January 23 to 26 in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland. Cybersecurity, weapons of mass destruction, the global economy and climate-related challenges are reported to be priority topics this year.
