Sweden: Border town businesses suffer 95 percent drop since COVID lockdown

Swedish businesses located in Charlottenberg, next to the Norwegian border suffered a 95 percent drop in revenue since the beginning of coronavirus pandemic with various activities shut down, as seen in footage from Wednesday. Shopping centres, outlets and many other businesses can be seen shut down while those still open seem to receive a reduced number of clients since the pandemic stopped the daily flow of Norwegians crossing the border to stock up on much cheaper goods. Although Norway reopened its borders with several countries of the region earlier this week, Sweden remains closed for neighbours due to it's high number of new cases.
