Locals commented on the ongoing political situation in their country while at a street protest in Khartoum on Friday.
«We will not accept a partial change. We want a complete change. We do not want to change with another thing which is the same. We want a complete change and the tree has to be cut from its roots,» said one protester.
«What happened in our country cannot be accepted by any... Еще citizen of Sudan. For me, I am not satisfied with that because it is a legitimate coup,» said another.
Former President Omar Al-Bashir was removed from office and placed under house arrest on Thursday by the Sudanese military, after almost four months of street demonstrations calling for his resignation.
Protests calling for civilian rule have continued throughout Sudan, following the announcement of a state of emergency and a two-year period of rule via a transitional military council by Sudanese Defence Minister Ahmed Awad Ibn Auf on Thursday.
