A truck spilled several tons of liquid chocolate after it crashed and overturned in the middle of the highway near Graboszewo, between Warsaw and Poznan on Wednesday. Footage shows a thick layer of liquid chocolate covering the six lanes of the A2 highway, blocking the traffic in all directions. “Even oil stains are easier and quicker to remove than smeared chocolate. It’s a time-consuming... Еще task. Layers of chocolate can only be removed from the tarmac with warm pressured water”, said firefighter Bogdan Kowalski. “I wanted to walk along the trench to avoid stepping in the chocolate on the road’s surface but I slipped on the slope and I fell into the trench where my shoe got stuck”, said local journalist Tomasz Malecki while showing his shoe soaked in the sticky substance. According to authorities, it may take several hours before the road is safe to drive on. Local media said that the truck driver was taken to the hospital with a broken arm.
