Medical staff at the European Gaza Hospital recalled the final moments of 21-year old Palestinian nurse Razan al-Najjar who killed by Israeli soldiers near the Gaza border fence on Friday. Head of Reception and Emergency department Mohammed Abu Hilal said despite their best efforts, they were unable to save al-Najjar. «The bullet was lethal and led to severe bleeding in the chest inside the... Еще area of the aorta,» added Abu Hilal. He said personnel were shocked by the «barbarity» of Israelis targeting persons in white medical uniform. Razan al-Najjar was shot in the chest while reportedly helping a wounded Palestinian protester near Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip on Friday. The 10-week long series of rallies, known as the 'Great March of Return', began on March 30 as a demand for Palestinians' right of return to land now found in Israeli territory. The demonstrations reached their peak on May 14, when at least sixty Palestinians were killed as the US opened its new embassy in Jerusalem.
