State of Palestine: UN's Guterres calls for two-state solution amid protests in Gaza

Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres called for the implementation of the two-state solution to put an end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He was speaking at a press conference in Gaza, Wednesday. Guterres demanded the «international community to strongly support humanitarian aid in Gaza», then he appealed for the unity of the people living in the State of Palestine and... Finally, he called for a political solution «to address the problems that exist» between Israel and Palestine, and demanded for the implementation of the two-state solution allowing for the two countries' people to live «in peace and security together». The UN Secretary-General was met by protesters at the Erez/Beit Hanoun crossing when he entered the Gaza Strip and at the press conference location. They were calling on him to take action to support Palestinian prisoners in Israel.
