The 'March of Return' protests entered their fifth week on Friday along the Israel-Gaza border. Palestinian protesters set fire to tyres and threw stones. Israeli security forces responded with volleys of tear gas. The Gazan health ministry said that at least 50 people were wounded on Friday. Since the protests began three weeks ago, forty-two Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces... Еще, according to the United Nations Co-ordination of Humanitarian Affairs. Israel does not release figures and rejects suggestions that it uses excessive force. The six-week long 'Great March' will continue until May 15, the 'Nakba' (Catastrophe), which marks the expulsion and displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians. Protesters are demanding a right of return to land which is now claimed by Israel.
