State of Palestine: Hundreds rally against normalisation deals with Israel in Ramallah

Hundreds took to the streets of the West Bank city of Ramallah against the normalisation of relations between the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Israel, a few hours before a deal was signed in a Washington DC ceremony on Tuesday. Protesters from various groups and organisations such as Fatah, Hamas, and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) held Palestinian flags and signs in the middle of al-Manara Square, denouncing the peace deal. «Palestinian people all over the world are now expressing their complete condemnation and rejection of this Arab normalisation with the occupation state before its withdrawal from the Arab and Palestinian lands that were occupied in the year 1967,» said PLO Executive Committee Member Saleh Rafat. The streets of Ramallah and al-Bireh also saw a massive rallies, in which the participants chanted slogans denouncing the normalisation deal.
