Christians attended Mass at Deir al-Latin Catholic Church in Gaza City on Tuesday, after Israeli authorities denied permits to hundreds of Palestinian Christians to travel to Bethlehem.
Parish priest Gabriel Rumaili said that only a few Christians were issued permits to travel to Bethlehem to attend Mass at Church of the Nativity, which is believed to be the birthplace of Jesus.
One of the... Еще worshippers described Israel's move as a 'provocative policy.'
As of Monday, out of 951 applications, only 192 were granted permission, according to a spokesperson for the Catholic church.
Last week, Israeli authorities reversed their previous decision which banned Palestinian Christians from leaving the Gaza Strip.
