State of Palestine: Family, friends mourn paramedic shot dead by Israeli troops

Scores of friends and family gathered to honour the slain paramedic Razan al-Najjar in Khan Younes on Saturday. Family, colleagues and friends of Razan unfurled a large Palestinian flag and held it aloft in memory of her work as a medic. Razan’s colleague Shaimaa said Israeli forces had started firing at the medical crew while they were discussing how to assist wounded protesters. «Me, my... According to her, Razan was shot at «directly and deliberately.» According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, the 21-year-old Razan was wearing her medical uniform when she was shot in the chest during Friday’s protest at the Gaza-Israel border.
