At least 55 Palestinians were reportedly injured by live bullets and rubber-coated rounds fired by Israeli soldiers during the weekly 'Great March of Return protests' at the Gaza Strip border on Friday, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. Some of the wounded were moved to hospital and others were treated in the field hospitals.
Footage from the protest shows demonstrators rallying... Еще with Palestinian flags alongside the border fence separating Gaza from Israel, with many fleeing as tear gas was deployed. Several protesters were carried away to receive medical assistance in ambulances.
The Great March of Return protests started in March 2018, as a non-violent protest campaign which calls for the Palestinian people's right to return to their homes lost to Israeli forces in 1948.
