Palestinian protesters marched through the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem to mark the annual Palestinian Land Day on Wednesday. The demonstration was organised by the Popular Struggle Coordination Committee (PSCC), whose head Munther Amira was arrested in December on charges relating to his participation in demonstrations. The march started from the city's Bab al-Zaqq area and made its way... Еще through Jerusalem-Hebron Street. Reports say that Israeli forces fired rubber-coated bullets at the demonstrators as they reached the northern entrance to Bethlehem. Land Day is an annual day of marches to commemorate the deaths of six unarmed Arab citizens, who died in confrontation with Israeli police and armed forces in 1976.
