SPOTTED: Rescued snow leopard 'Leo' becomes 'grandpa' decade after being saved

Rescued snow leopard 'Leo' showed off his new baby grand-cub at the Wildlife Conservation Society's (WCS) Bronx, New York City on Thursday, more than a decade after his near-death rescue. This is Leo's second generation cub, after mother 'K2' and father 'Naltar' — Leo's offspring — became parents in summer 2017. When Leo the snow leopard was found by the WCS workers, orphaned and injured, in... Еще northern Pakistan Mountains in 2005, they knew immediately they had to bring him to safety. Snow Leopards are native to remote mountains of Central Asia and parts of China, Mongolia, Russia, India, and are regarded as a 'Threatened' species due to low numbers.
