The 52nd World Custard Pie Championship was held in the village of Coxheath in the English county of Kent on Saturday. The Charlie-Chaplin inspired tournament has been held in the village since 1967 and attracts teams from around the globe.
«The world is a bit serious at times but today in sunny Kent, gives us the opportunity just to be ourselves. And we had a fantastic day so thank you to... Еще everyone,» said a contestant from the winning team.
Teams of four score points by throwing pies at members of the opposing team. Only left hand throwing is permitted. Points are awarded by a group of judges.
