Keep an eye on your broker with the Primary Dukascopy Spike Controller for Tuesday. Euro/Dollar’s long term average spread is point 23 pips and maximum separation has been 1.3 pips. The pair rose from the low of 1 0709, gaining slightly more than 1% or 108 pips. News reports don’t match the time of the peak spread – both of the sides were 1.3 pips apart yesterday at 11:54 AM. The Cable’s daily... Еще average is slightly above the 1 pip level and peak gap of 4.3 pips took place yesterday. Pound/Dollar has moved sharply down in a couple of waves, dropping by 1.27% or 160 pips. Spreads were above their usual level for a number of ticks yesterday shortly after 11 PM GMT, but 4.3 pips is the most you should have been charged. Last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 36 and 1.7 pips respectively. A single trend hasn’t formed here and the biggest move was a rise of point 78% or 84 pips. Spreads have been mostly calm here as the max of only 1.7 pips took place yesterday at 11 PM GMT.
