Spreads have averaged at point 23 pips during the last 24 hours for the Euro/Dollar. Peak separation has been 1.6 pips. Euro gained a total of point 59% or 65 pips against the Buck to reach the high at just a pip above the 1 10 level. Spreads... Еще were slightly elevated yesterday at a half past noon GMT as the US Personal Income and Spending report was out, but the max separation has been just 1.6 pips. The Cable’s long term average spread is point 94 pips and max spread of 2.9 pips took place less than an hour ago. Last 24 hours have been bullish for the Pound/Dollar, the pair has gained 1.13% or 137 pips to reach the high of 1 2281. UK Manufacturing PMI sent the spreads higher today at 9:30 in the morning, but make sure your broker hasn’t used this news report as an excuse to charge you more than 2.9 pips. And the final pair for this overview is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 37 and 2.9 pips respectively. Daily high and low difference is 56 pips and it was posted as the rate declined by point 53%.
