You're watching the Dukascopy Spike Controller with the benchmark interbank price stats for Thursday. Euro/Dollar’s long term average and maximum spreads are point 32 and 2.1 pips respectively. The pair gained a total of point 63% or 75 pips to reach the daily high of 1 1983. Spreads got a slight bump yesterday at 2 PM GMT as the US Non-Manufacturing PMI was released, but the max separation was... Еще just 2.1 pips. The Cable’s daily average spread is point 79 pips and both of the sides were 2.3 pips apart yesterday. Pound/Dollar rose further above the 1 30 level yesterday, gaining point 45% or 59 pips, before most of the gains were given up. Spreads were at their highest point yesterday at 2 PM GMT here as well, but 2.3 pips is the line that shouldn’t have been crossed. Last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has a daily average of point 35 pips. Peak separation has been 1.7 pips. Greenback gained a total of point 63% or 69 pips against the Yen in a sharp rise, but most of those gains have been given up. News reports don’t match the time of the peak spread here — both of the sides moved 1.7 pips apart today at 12:26 in the morning. I’m Celeste Skinner and that concludes the Spike Controller for Thursday. Goodbye for now.
