Pound/Dollar went up yesterday, gaining half a percent or 64 pips, although it has since declined from its daily high at 1 2917. Several US news releases were out at half past noon yesterday, and the daily max of 3.2 pips was posted just as the data came out. And Dollar/Yen's average and peak long-term spreads stand at point 34 and 1.8 pips, respectively. This pair was trending lower for most of the last 24 hours, losing a total of 1.29% or 142 pips.
