Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy hit out at terrorists at a press conference, Friday, which was called in the wake of Thursday's terror attack in Barcelona which left 14 dead and nearly 100 more injured.
Rajoy, who was joined by the Catalan President Carles Puigdemont in Barcelona, said that terrorism would be defeated.
«We are determined to pull together, with the same intensity and with... Еще the same spirit of victory against terrorism,» Rajoy said. «We are convinced that we will win this battle.»
He admitted, however, that terrorism was still a cause for concern.
«Of all the problems which face the European Union, the first and foremost is terrorism. It's the issue which most worries people,» he said.
Rajoy also extended well-wishings and condolences to those who were injured and to the families of those who were killed, while saluting the professionalism of the emergency services.
