Spain: Venezuelans take the street to demand Madrid recognises Guaido

Hundreds of Venezuelans held a demonstration in the central Madrid on Wednesday, demanding the Spanish government recognises Juan Guaido as interim president of the country. «We ask for support from the Spanish President and the international community, to our friends from any country, so we can achieve democracy and live happily, we want to go back to our country, to be there with our families... Еще,» said a demonstrator. Guaido, who is leader of the opposition and also the head of the National Assembly, declared Maduro's January 10 inauguration illegitimate, and swore himself in as Interim President of Venezuela. US President Donald Trump was among the first world leaders to recognise Guaido as acting president. Other governments including Brazil, Canada, Chile and Colombia have followed suit.
