Spain: Thousands protest against 'Wolf Pack rapists' release in Madrid

Thousands of protesters filled the streets of Madrid on Friday to demonstrate against the release of the five so-called 'Wolf Pack rapists' after their sentences were downgraded to sexual abuse. The Provincial Court of Navarre decided to release the five on a €6,000 ($6,900) bail instead of enforcing the previous verdict of nine years in jail. Three left the Pamplona prison on Friday, while... Еще the two others left jail in Alcala-Meco on the same day. The five, who were part of a WhatsApp group named 'Wolf Pack' or 'La Manada' in Spanish, were accused of the gang rape of an 18-year-old woman during the San Fermin 'Running of the Bulls' festival on July 7, 2016.
