Spain: Thousands march in Cambrils to commemorate victims of Catalonia's terror attacks

Thousands joined Cambrils City Council officials on a solidarity march in Cambrils, Friday, following the deadly twin vehicle attacks in Catalonia last week which killed 15 people and injured over 120 others. The demo was called under the slogan «We are all Cambrils» and marched from Passeig de las Palmeres towards the roundabout near the Nautical Club where the four suspects in the case were... Spain suffered a twin attack on August 17 and 18, when a van ploughed into pedestrians in Las Ramblas in Barcelona. Making his escape, the suspected attacker then fatally stabbed a driver as he stole his car, bringing the death toll of the first attack to 14. Then a second attack in Cambrils left seven injured, after five attackers drove an Audi A3 into a group of pedestrians. Police fatally shot the five suspected assailants as they left the vehicle. The attackers were reportedly wearing fake-explosive belts.
