Taxi drivers of Madrid region are now providing free service to health personnel who need to make house visits to assist patients infected with the novel coronavirus, as footage filmed on Wednesday in Fuenlabrada shows.
Alberto Gonzalo, a taxi driver in Madrid, goes to the Alicante Clinic in Fuenlabrada, a commuter town in Madrid's industrial belt, to transport the health personnel.

Following an agreement reached with the regional government, taxi drivers are granting service to 266 clinics that are currently overcrowded and without any other option for transportation.
The Spanish health authorities have registered 2,538 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, and the total amount in the country has reached 13,716 cases. The number of deaths rose to 558, with an uneven distribution throughout the Spanish territory, with Madrid being the most affected region.
