Manchester City fans in Madrid's Plaza Mayor were scathing about European football's governing body UEFA ahead of their side's Champions League game at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday.
«We all know it's a load of rubbish. UEFA are rotten to the core and everybody knows it,» said one travelling fan.
Another described UEFA as a protection racket, seeking to ensure funds stay at the major... Еще European clubs.
«It's set up like a cartel, it's to keep the top five or six teams as they are. They want this European mini league, no relegation, so they can cream off all this cash from TV rights,» added Paul, another City fan.
Other travelling supporters set up banners to protest the body's decision to ban City from taking part in European competitions for the next two seasons over alleged financial wrongdoing.
Manchester City take on Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu at 21:00 (20:00 GMT) in possibly their final European away day for two season.
