The operation to rescue Julen Rosello could be concluded in as little as 15 hours if conditions are favourable, the head of the rescue team told the press on Friday evening. Julen, aged 2, fell down a 100 meter well on January 13, triggering a week-long underground rescue operation. «In favourable or normal drilling conditions, we could reach the goal in 15 hours, approximately, unless we run... Еще into more of that hard material which would slow the operation down,» says Angel Garcia the head of the operation. The digging slowed significantly on Friday, as the team had difficulties penetrating through a layer of rock, which they hope to avoid as they continue drilling down. Six days into the rescue attempt, the fate of Julen is still unknown with sediment preventing any visual contact with the toddler.
