Spain: Protesters burst into song as police seizes referendum-related documents in Terrassa

Scores of protesters gathered outside a UniPost office in the Catalonian city of Terrassa, Tuesday, as Civil Guard officers searched the postal operator for materials linked to the referendum on independence convened by the Catalan Government. The rally erupted as pro-independence activists came to the site with Catalan flags, chanting «I'm not afraid» and singing traditional songs of the... Еще province. According to reports, Spanish Civil Guard personnel conducted several raids on other branches of the courier company UniPost in search for materials promoting the referendum such as census cards and posters, where they reportedly seized a number of relevant documents. The referendum for Catalan independence is schedule to take place in the province on October 1, amid Spanish resistance.
