A Barcelona youth centre was torched on Thursday night, in what police have described as a ‘fascist attack’. Firefighters quickly managed to put out the blaze at the Ateneu Popular de Sarria, but the building sustained permanent damage. There were no reported injuries and the area around the building has since been cordoned off. Police believe the evidence points towards a 'fascist attack... Еще', after finding neo-Nazi and Falangist symbols daubed on the walls. The youth centre, known for its support of Catalan nationalism, has been attacked on four occasions since the independence referendum of October 1.
