Spain: Police intervene to restore order in supermarket in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat

The Catalan police, Mossos d'Esquadra, had to go to a supermarket in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat to restore order among the people who were waiting to shop on Saturday. Footage shows the officers in front of the entrance of the supermarket, and a long queue of people waiting to enter. The police reportedly asked customers to form orderly queues over the public address system of their vehicle, so... Еще too many people were trying to enter the store simultaneously. Catalonia's President Quim Torra asked Pedro Sanchez's government to help him quarantine the region at a press conference on Friday. This measure has already been taken in the towns of Igualada, Vilanova del Camí, Santa Margarida de Montbui and Odena. So far in Spain there have been 5753 diagnosed cases, of which 135 have died and 193 have been discharged. In Catalonia the total number of cases is 509. Mandatory Credit: Silvia Núñez
