Spanish police officers detained members of an international smuggling network following a raid in Malaga, Thursday. The gang has reportedly been issuing forged Spanish passports for Iranian immigrants, including children, so they are able to reach the United Kingdom. Police authorities confirmed that 14 out of 15 members of the criminal group were detained, including the leader, who was arrested at Heathrow Airport in London. At least 44 people in possession of fake documents were detained at different European airports while 42 people were arrested for allegedly selling the documents.
