Scores of demonstrators gathered outside the Palace of Justice in Pamplona, Wednesday, to declare their support of a woman who was gang raped during the San Fermin in 2016, as the eighth hearing of the case unfolded. Members of feminist groups attended the rally, which was led by the slogan «No is no! Justice!» and carried signs reading «Trial for the accused, not for the victim» and «We believe... Еще you.» Different feminist organisations criticised the judicial system for posing questions about the victim's normal life after the aggression. «[We say] no to a system that admits a report which analyses her life after [the rape] as a valid proof during judgement», one spokesperson said before affirming that «this trial is an example of what rape culture is.» Five men are accused of gang raping an 18-year-old woman during the San Fermin 'running of the bulls' festival on July 6, 2016. Among the defendants is a member of the Civil Guard, the oldest law enforcement agency in Spain.
