LaLiga, the top football division in Spain, presented its latest broadcasting and data collection innovations at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Monday. During a presentation at RCD Espanyol's stadium, LaLiga's Head of Content and Programming Roger Brosel gave attendees a taste of what is to come in live football broadcasts going forward. Viewers will now be able to watch two... Еще headline matches on 4K-HDR. Games will be filmed using 20 HDR cameras. The images are then processed through Intel True View services creating a 3D product. This technology was tried out for the first time at December's El Clasico between Real Madrid and Barcelona. It will shortly be rolled out to Athletico Madrid and Seville. LaLiga's is the only footballing competition to offer viewers live 3D graphics during broadcasts. One of the new features on display was the Laser Wall, which is superimposed onto a screen and will be used principally to detect the offside line. Manel Lozano from Mediacoach also spoke of how his company's match analysis tools will revolutionise coaching in Spain.
