Spain: Hundreds unite for a society without racism in Madrid

Several hundred people marched through the streets of Madrid, Sunday, to denounce racism on the 25th anniversary of Lucrecia Perez, the first recognised victim of racism and xenophobia in Spain, who was killed on this day in 1992. Demonstrators marched behind a banner reading «For a society without racism,» as they pushed their way slowly through the city. Protesters then held a stake out as...
