German tourists from one of the first groups to arrive on the Spanish island of Mallorca after the easing of travel restrictions shared their thoughts in the airport of Palma de Mallorca on Monday.
«I think the Spanish government, and the TUI company, prepared everything really well for the whole holiday. Of course, it is also a little bit quieter, but that is how we like it,» said Georg Kesbar, a German tourist.
Visitors can be seen at the airport wearing face masks as part of the requirements for the first batch of travel trials in the Balearic Islands.
«You need to fill a form, stating where you are coming from, and the address of the hotel you'll be staying at and that's it,» said a tourist.
As part of a test programme, thousands of German tourists will be able to move freely while respecting capacity limitations and social distance rules.
