Spain: 'Franco, murderer!' Counter-protester arrested at far-right march

Hundreds of far-right protesters marched through the streets of Madrid on Sunday to commemorate the dictator Francisco Franco on the anniversary of his death. People marched through the city centre, chanting, performing Nazi salutes and holding flags with Francoist symbols. Police monitored the march and arrested a counter-protester who was holding a banner reading «Franco, murderer... Еще.» General Francisco Franco ruled over Spain from 1939 until his death on November 20, 1975.
