The first travelling exhibition dedicated to Auschwitz death camp was presented to the press on Tuesday at the Canal Art Centre in Madrid. The exhibition, titled «Auschwitz. No hace mucho. No muy lejos» (Auschwitz. Not so long. Not so far.) features more than 600 objects and artefacts from Auschwitz, including one of the freight wagons used to carry prisoners to the camp. Еще Jan van Pelt explained that «this is an exhibition that will still allow people witness what happened 70 years ago, 75 years ago.» It will open its doors on December 1 until June 2018, before moving to other European and North American cities over the next seven years. «Auschwitz. Not so long. Not so far.» is organized by Musealia and the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum, along with several Jewish and Holocaust institutions.
