Over 300 protesters marched an Easter procession in Tarragona on Friday to demand the release of the imprisoned Catalan leaders. Some demonstrators wore Nazarene costumes and candles as well as banners reading “Freedom for political prisoners”. «It is a way of protesting against what is going on with the Spanish government, the fact that all these people are going to prison and we also have... Еще people in exile. And since it coincides with Holy Friday, we thought it would be nice to do a parallel procession”, said one demonstrator. The arrest of Former Catalan President Carles Puigdemont on Sunday triggered demonstrations all over Catalonia and in several European cities demanding the release of the imprisoned and exiled Catalan leaders.
