Border police caught two migrants while trying to cross over the barbed wire fence separating Morocco from Spain's North African enclave of Ceuta, early Tuesday morning.
The two migrants were caught off-guard while on the before they were detained by border guards and forced back into Morocco.
Some 300 migrants from sub-Saharan Africa had attempted to enter Ceuta, but only two of them managed... Еще to climb the fence before being spotted by the border guards.
There is a large permanent presence of migrants on the border of the two Spanish enclaves in North Africa; Ceuta and Melilla, the only European land borders to Africa.
The European Court of Human Rights had ruled in October that such «forced expulsions» constitute «a breach of the European Convention on Human Rights.»
