Penelope, Benidorm's popular night club, hosted its first party after the COVID lockdown on Saturday with strict safety measures.
Security guards checked the temperature of customers before letting them into the club where they were required to use disinfectant gel and masks.
The venue's capacity has been limited with the dance floor converted into a bar to comply with the latest health regulations.
«The bars are obviously going to be disinfected continuously, the tables, reserved areas,» said the club's director, Roberto Bazalo.
The historic Penelope club, established nearly half a century ago, has been a reference point for nightlife in eastern Spain.
